Will your proposal for our job be just a single price, lump sum total?

No. Our job proposals will list all the different phases for work to be completed and a itemized breakdown of the individual costs. IE. Installation, service and product pricing.

Can you give me a cost estimate over the phone or do we need to meet in person?

We can only give you some very basic cost estimates over the phone. Each project is different with its own unique conditions and site situations. All these factors can and will effect the cost to complete the work.

Are you licensed and insured for the work you’ll be doing here?

Yes, we are licensed in the State of Florida and carry full liability insurances.

Why should I have mulch on my property?

Mulch provides the following benefits for planting when done correctly: For shrubs and ornamental trees, a mulch base of 3”-4” is recommended. It helps to keep weeds in check, retains moisture in the soil and adds organic matter to the soil as it decays. Woody, ornamental and evergreen trees do not need or want their soil cultivated around their roots.

What type of program do you offer for fertilization and control of weeds?

As different people have different expectations of how they want their landscaping to look and also what they want to spend, we offer two programs. At V&S Landscaping we can create a specially designed program to meet or exceed the expectations of the consumer, within their budget for re-vitalization of their landscaping.

If I contract your company for service, do I have to pay at the beginning or at the end of the month?

We accept payment upon the completion of the project.

Do you remove the dead vegetation or leave it for the municipality to pick up?

We take pride in making sure each job is completed properly by removing all the dead vegetation ourselves at the time of service.

What guarantees do I have that my money will be well spent?

We are confident in the quality of our work. If upon the first months service for routine maintenance you are not satisfied, there will not be a charge.

Is your staff bilingual?

Yes, we have ascertained a fully bilingual staff for on site landscaping work. As well as our Billing Specialist, Ms. Sariol.

If I request special maintenance to done outside of the regular scheduled maintenance, would your company be able to accommodate it? And if so, would there be an additional fee applied?

Our company will remain flexible in order to work with our clients and their individual needs to properly facilitate a positive customer satisfaction rating. Due to the added cost of fuel and labor, an additional fee will be applied. Unless the client requests to use the special maintenance day instead of the routine maintenance scheduled day for that week.
